It seems that installing windows 98 is the thoughest since it makes use of dos prompt unlike windows 2000 and above which are more of GUI than the 98 command line.....

do you think that because you have an upgraded system which is compactible with newer versions means that everybody has it. there are still some others who dosent have such systems so go on and publish the post since no knowledge is a waste
Ok..step1. Boot your system from windows 98 cd, select start with cd rom support, after booting, at the for prompt A:> type fdisk (this will will bring out the fixed disk properties. Use the numbers and enter key to create, delete or convert partitions, then exit fdisk. Type restart at prompt. Then type A:>FORMAT C: {when c: is the disk to be installed windows 98.} then type setup.exe
