some applications update themselves from the internet whenever your system is connected to the internet. And this will cost you a lot without your knowledge. Example is windows, e.g windows media player, explorer etc and other applications e.g antivirus, e.t.c. What you have to do is to disable update.
windows update.
to disable this, click on the windows update icon on the extreme right of your task bar. (A red icon with cross marked across) click on windows update then click disable. So that you can update it at your own time. This will save you alot of money
